The Vero Beach Book Center didn’t receive copies of “Fire and Fury” (Michael Wolff’s new book about the Trump White House) until this week. Who knows how many copies it could have sold over the weekend, but the shipment had not arrived.
The book was originally scheduled to be released today (Jan. 9), but the publisher moved things up by four days because of the intense publicity.
I was there shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday just to see how much interest there was in the book. Two customers had already asked for the book, and workers were fielding several calls.
