Damien Gilliams, the owner of the No Name Sports Bar on U.S. 1, is now a member of the Sebastian City Council.
In voting out the three incumbents on the ballot, Sebastian voters decided to give Gilliams a chance.
This was his 10th try for office.
I’ve often called him Sebastian’s equivalent of Brian Heady, the perennial candidate for the Vero Beach City Council.
