Give Chick-fil-A an “A” for creating “buzz” before the opening of its new restaurant on State Road 60 between 58th and 66th avenues.
The restaurant’s parking lot turned into a campground last week, as the first 100 people in line were given a free meal each week for a year. The parking lot was completely full.
Twice in my life I camped out to be one of the first in line for tickets. Both times, I was a student at Indiana State University. The first was for a John Denver concert (it worked … got front-row seats!) and the second was for basketball tickets.
