Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Catherine Caddell.
She’s going to be playing a very important role for Lemmon Lines. Her title is Business Development Coordinator. She will be working to help bring business to local businesses … by advertising in the distinctive weekly newsletter printed on yellow paper.
Catherine will be much more than an advertising salesperson, though.
If all goes as planned, and goals are met, we’re going to become business partners during the second half of 2016.
Yes, business partners! Talk about a big step forward in the history of this company.
Catherine and I are like-minded in the way we approach work. Yet, there’s a big difference in our, um, “social skills.” Catherine, a former flight attendant with Delta Airlines, is personable and polished. By comparison, I sometimes stumble and bumble.
As I’ve often said, I love every aspect of Lemmon Lines … every aspect except selling ads, that is. I love putting the product together, love distribution, love the accounting, love the strategy, and love the (fill in the blank). But I don’t relish selling ads.
That’s why Catherine and I complement each other so well.
Lemmon Lines will soon be celebrating its 1st birthday. I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve received from readers and advertisers.
Now, I’m very fortunate Catherine has agreed to join me in this venture.
