Christopher Sweeney, a second-grade teacher at Pelican Island Elementary School in Sebastian, is the person behind these new murals in downtown Vero Beach.
The mural above is on the south wall of Freres Patisserie, while the mural below is on the north wall of Threads Boutique. (Both buildings are owned by developer Michael Rechter, whose American Icon Brewery is scheduled to open in the next month or two.)
Sweeney says the murals take three or four days to create. He did them with spray-paint.
