Former president George W. Bush spent a little more than 6 hours in Vero Beach last week.
He had an April 12 book-signing event at the Vero Beach Book Center.
His plane arrived at the Vero Beach Regional Airport at 11:56 a.m. (The book-signing was scheduled to begin at noon.)
After the book-signing ended a little before 3 p.m., he had some free time. Supposedly, he attended a private event at Windsor.
His plane left the airport at 6:08 p.m., according to Eric Menger, the airport director.
