As the most loyal readers know, my hobby isn’t golf or fishing. It’s Strat-O-Matic baseball, which is a table-top game (think “Monopoly”).
Last weekend, the Vero Beach Inn & Suites was the site for a tournament. There were 12 participants from around the state (one guy even made the trip from North Carolina).
The hotel also was the site for a tournament in April.
What was unexpected is that Vero Beach Inn & Suites gave a shout-out to our group.
Of course, anyone who saw the sign probably thought, “What’s Strat Baseball?”
