Solo venture December 15, 2015 Sam Boksmati spent a lot of time getting Jennifer’s Bakery & Café ready for take-off. The bakery, located on westbound State Road 60 just before the railroad tracks, was to open earlier this year. But it never happened … because Sam and his wife, Jennifer, got a divorce. Sam has decided to open a restaurant at the same location. He hopes to have Sammy’s Mediterranean Café up and running by mid-January. Sam, who was born in Lebanon, is a one-of-a-kind restaurant owner in Indian River County. His goal is to have every customer leave with a smile. I know with me, he’s at 100 percent.
